U.S. Financial Oversight & Management Board for Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico was undertaking the largest public debt restructuring in U.S. history and simultaneously recovering from Hurricane Maria. A 10XG executive serving in a contractor capacity led the central planning team that coordinated the work of financial analysts, lawyers, government leaders and public relations professionals to calculate and communicate the territory’s path to a sustainable financial future. The work was vital to Puerto Rico emerging from bankruptcy in 2022.
U.S. Department of the Interior
Wildfires created a substantial risk in the U.S. pacific northwest. In response, the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management solicited helicopter firefighting support for the central Alaska region. A 10XG executive led the business unit that won and executed this contract over a multi-year period. The successful execution of the work resulted in the work being extended after the contract concluded its initial 5-year term.
U.S. Department of Defense
The U.S. military was executing a training exercise in the Arctic Circle and required resupply via helicopter over an extended period under extremely arduous conditions. A 10XG executive prepared and won the bid for this work then led its successful execution which included operating in remote areas with zero tolerance for error. The work was completed without delays or incidents.
U.S. Army
A U.S. Army unit operating in Kunar province of Afghanistan required contractor support for infrastructure projects involving drilling water wells, constructing a fortified command and control center, and procuring, installing and maintaining satellite internet systems to support soldiers stationed at remote outposts only accessible via helicopter. A 10XG executive serving in Afghanistan provided end-to-end acquisition support including market research, drafting RFPs, evaluating and selecting offerors, and managing execution of the contracts in an on-the-ground leadership capacity.
