Work for Warriors Program Coordinator

About the role

10XG is seeking a Work for Warriors Program Coordinator to support the Oregon Military Department in Salem, Oregon. The coordinator connects Oregon National Guard service members, veterans and military spouses with civilian employment, manages employer relationships and events, and reports program outcomes. This position is contingent on contract award.

This position is contingent on contract award. Applications are reviewed now so the team can start on day one of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Meet with service members and families to assess employment goals; coach on résumés, applications and interviews.
• Build and maintain relationships with Oregon employers; coordinate hiring events and job fairs.
• Track placements, contacts and outcomes in the program database and prepare monthly reports.
• Coordinate with unit leadership, transition counselors and community partners.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in workforce development, recruiting, HR or military transition programs.
• Strong presentation and relationship-building skills; comfortable with employers and senior leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or case-management systems.
• Preferred: prior military service or Guard family experience; knowledge of the Oregon employer landscape.

Compensation and schedule

Hourly wage and health-and-welfare benefit per the applicable U.S. Department of Labor Service Contract Act wage determination. Paid federal holidays and paid time off per the wage determination; additional benefits reviewed at offer.
