Dental & Audiology Program Coordinator
About the role
10XG is seeking a Dental & Audiology Program Coordinator to support the Vermont Army National Guard in Colchester, Vermont. The coordinator schedules and tracks dental and hearing readiness for Guard members, works directly with providers and unit leadership, and keeps medical readiness records current. This is a full-time, on-site position under a federal services contract.
Responsibilities
- Schedule dental and audiology readiness exams across units and drill weekends; coordinate provider availability and clinic space.
- Track individual readiness status, follow up on incomplete exams and referrals, and report readiness metrics to program leadership.
- Maintain exam records and documentation in the Army medical readiness system and unit files, accurately and on time.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for soldiers, providers and unit representatives on dental and hearing requirements.
- Support periodic readiness events, including set-up, check-in and records processing.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of medical office, dental office, patient administration or military medical readiness experience.
- Working knowledge of scheduling systems and electronic medical or readiness records; strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to a federal installation and information systems (background check required).
- Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable working with providers, soldiers and unit leadership.
- Preferred: prior Army National Guard, MEDPROS or dental/audiology clinic experience; medical or dental assistant certification.
Compensation and schedule
Hourly wage and health-and-welfare benefit per the applicable U.S. Department of Labor Service Contract Act wage determination. Paid federal holidays and paid time off per the wage determination; additional benefits reviewed at offer.
